Design of Composite Shear-Loaded Bolted Joints

This dissertation developed a three-dimensional progressive damage model and a sizing method for composite shear-loaded bolted joints. Based on the damage model, the secondary bending effects, the lay-up ratio effects, and the failure mechanisms were in detail investigated.
