Das primäre Ziel ist die Untersuchung der Quintupel CCCXY und ihrer Inversen im mitochondrialen Genom, die unter Nutzung der Datenbanken des National Center for Biotechnology Information NCBI berechnet wurden und deren Häufigkeitssummen zu den Häufigkeiten der Tripel CCC beziehungsweise GGG führen, die ein angenähert "charakteristisches Verhalten" bei der Evolution des Menschen zeigen. Die Ausführungen werden durch einen Vergleich der Tripel und Tripletts sowie eine Untersuchung der Häufigkeiten der Nukleinbasen im mitochondrialen Genom ergänzt.
Die Ergebnisse sind der Übersichtlichkeit halber wieder weitgehend in Tabellenform dargestellt.
