Herausforderung an Theologie und Kirche heute
Die Aufsätze zur neuzeitlichen Religiosität (Goethe, Schiller usw.) wenden sich gegen reduktionistischen Naturalismus (wie auch R. Dworkin, Religion ohne Gott). So werden auch Überlegungen zu "Geheimnis" und "Mystik" bedacht. Das geschieht im Zusammenhang von "Wahrheitsgewissheit und Toleranz" mit dem hermeneutischen Fokus auf reformatorische Theologie und Kirche (M. Luther, Heidelberger Disputation (1518), gegen H. E. G. Paulus’ Interpretation von 1817) angesichts der gegenwärtigen "Glücks"- und "Werte"-Diskussion. Der Autor erkennt die Herausforderung der neuzeitlichen Religiosität im gelebten Gebet, d.?h. im Reden mit Gott als Grund für das Reden von Gott, um nicht ins Reden über Gott zu verkehren.
