We are a publishing company with offices in Germany and the Netherlands. Over the past 30 years, our activities have evolved from purely academic publications to encompass a broad range of topics. Our catalog currently includes more than 29,000 available titles from a variety of disciplines. All titles are published in print and simultaneously online as PDF files.

We collaborate with a variety of renowned scientific research institutions and publishers. We currently manage approximately 500 institute series, each of which publishes the latest research findings. You can find an overview of these here.

When publishing academic monographs, dissertations, and conference proceedings, we place great emphasis on short publication times, the widest possible distribution, and moderate costs for offprints and author copies. To achieve the best possible distribution, we research interested readerships for each publication in collaboration with our authors and editors and provide them with targeted information about the individual book upon publication. Our books are available in bookstores in Germany, the Netherlands, and internationally through Nielsen (Great Britain). Leading book retailers and online booksellers such as Amazon also carry our books.

Our publishing house is a member of various organizations in the publishing world, such as the Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchandels (Frankfurt am Main), the Koninklijke Vereniging van het Boekenvak (Amsterdam), and the VG Wort (Munich and Berlin).
