Experimental and numerical investigation of single- and two-phase fluid dynamics, pressure loss and conjugate heat transfer in slender rectangular 180° ducts.

In this work the effect of curvature in slender 180° duct shapes was investigated with regards to the pressure loss, heat transfer, and gas-liquid two-phase flow pattern. For heat transfer the ratio between the concave and convex curved surfaces is considered.
