Scientists who deal with problems of philosophy and theology are very rare. With the collaboration of the theologian Thomas Rutte SJ, the author of this book has succeeded in giving an overall view of natural sciences and theology which these days can be seen as an absolute novelty.~|~
The book is, at least as far as the scientific part is concerned, on which I am able to give an opinion, very well written and data brought together have been checked most carefully. Especially the illustrations which show specialized knowledge of the subject deserve to be praised. I would like to recommend this book without any reservation to all scientists, in particular however to all biologists.

Naturwissenschaftler, die sich mit Problemen der Philosophie und Theologie befassen, sind sehr selten. Dem Autor dieses Buches ist es - unter Mitwirkung des Theologen Thomas Rutte SJ - gelungen, eine Zusammenschau von Naturwissenschaft und Theologie zu beschreiben, welche bis dato ein Novum war.
Das Buch ist - zumindest im naturwissenschaftlichen Teil, den ich selbst überblicken kann - exzellent recherchiert und geschrieben. Ein besonderes Lob verdienen die kompetenten Graphiken. Ich möchte dieses Buch ohne Einschränkung allen Naturwissenschaftlern - insbesondere Biologen - empfehlen.
