Computational concept for the three-dimensional modelling of degrading and eroding polymeric materials
Im Rahmen der vorliegenden Dissertation wird ein chemomechanisches Model zur Beschreibung von Zersetzungs- und Erosionsprozessen in Polymeren vorgestellt. Hierbei beziehen sich Zersetzungsprozesse auf die Spaltung einzelner Polymerketten und Erosionsprozesse auf den Abtrag von Polymermaterial. Die wesentlichen Schwerpunkte dieser Arbeit sind zum einen die Modellierung des irreversiblen Materialverhaltens und zum anderen die Abbildung der geometrischen Änderung durch lokal auftretende Zersetzungsprozesse. Basierend auf kontinuumsmechanischen Ansätzen erfolgt die Umsetzung der gegebenen Problemstellung im Rahmen der Finiten Elemente Methode (FEM).
