Im Rahmen der vorliegenden Dissertation (TU Darmstadt, Fachbereich Chemie) wurden altersabhängige und ernährungsbedingte Veränderungen des mitochondrialen Proteoms bei den Modellorganismen Podospora anserina und Caenorhabditis elegans untersucht. Der Schwerpunkt lag dabei auf den Enzymen der Atmungskette. Zudem wurde eine Methode etabliert, mit der man die Lipidzusammensetzung mitochondrialer Membranen mittels MALDI-TOF bestimmen kann.
