Applikation des Figur-Grund-Modells auf das Implikaturverstehen
Das Figur-Grund-Konzept entstammt der Gestaltpsychologie und beschreibt die visuelle Wahrnehmung des Menschen. In der Kognitiven Linguistik hat das Modell bereits Anwendung gefunden, allerdings wurden alle Figur- und Grund-Zuweisungen bislang nur auf der wortwörtlichen Beschreibungsebene vorgenommen. Das Konzept wird nun auf den Bereich der Kognitiven Pragmatik erweitert. Am Beispiel des Verstehens von Implikaturen wird gezeigt, dass bei indirekten Sprechakten das Gemeinte die Figur bildet, während die gesamte wortwörtliche Bedeutung in Form des tatsächlich Gesagten als Grund fungiert. Das Potenzial von Figur und Grund in der Kognitiven Pragmatik wird zudem anhand weiterer On-Line-Verarbeitungsprozesse erläutert.
