Der achte Band der Schriftenreihe „Polnisch als Fremd- und Zweitsprache“ präsentiert die Beiträge der Konferenz „Polnisch – Nachbarsprache im mehrsprachigen Kontext“, die in Frankfurt an der Oder am 23. und 24. September 2022 stattfand und sich mit dem Thema der Mehrsprachigkeit und Sprachmittlung in sprachenteiligen Grenzregionen befasste. Der Band ist in drei Teile gegliedert: Der erste Teil stellt im Kontext der Mehrsprachigkeit verschiedene Projekte zu Nachbarsprachen in unterschiedlichen Grenzregionen vor – mit dem Fokus auf der deutsch-polnischen Grenzregion und unter Einbeziehung aller Bildungsbereiche. In den Beiträgen des zweiten Teils liegt der Schwerpunkt auf der Sprachmittlung und dem interkulturellen und mehrsprachigen Lehren und Lernen. Im drtten Teil werden zwei in der deutsch-polnischen Grenzregion durchgeführte Forschungsprojekte vorgestellt.
